“Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.” — Edmund Lee

I had some time to kill while my car was getting a safety check so I decided to go to Ben Franklin, a craft store in Kailua. Looking at all the paints and canvases and just being surrounded by it all made me really miss painting and taking art classes. Painting is something that i've always really enjoyed and am actually pretty decent at. As busy as life can get, don't forget about the things that truly make you happy. Make time to do these things. Reading, going to church, making art, exercising, spending time with your family, baking, etc. Know that you deserve some "me time" every once in a while too. Just a thought I had. It's time I start making time for these things that i've put aside for so long. I encourage you to do the same.

What if you set up a painting corner in the house? If you cut down on texting, surfing, and spent 10 to 15 minutes a day just painting....wonder what that would be like? You should try it. I'll help you if you like. I've often thought about practicing bass for 15 to 20 minutes a day. You can help me!
